I have been in pastoral ministry since May of 2005. I have earned both a Master of Arts in New Testament Studies (what I like to call an MDiv. minus the Hebrew!) from Grand Rapids Theological Seminary and an M.B.A. from Cornerstone University. One of the most important things I have learned during my pursuit of these degrees is that they do not guarantee success or competence; they can, however, help open doors that may otherwise be closed.
